After starting out at a local farmers market, Aotea’s New Zealand heritage and quality ingredients have resulted in global success. With a unique business offering and sustainability-led values, Aotea's story was one worth sharing.
Aotea is a local manufacturer of skincare, honey and natural tonics based on Great Barrier Island. They take inspiration from Rongoā Māori, and lessons from scientific research into the actives of the flora, to create a range of healing and vitality-supporting products.
We spent 18 months capturing the rich history, background, production process of the products and the founder’s family connection with the land, to create a short film and capture thousands of images to launch Aotea into new international markets.
